Ah, you must have studied Wicca. I've had occasion to ponder this question myself. I think that it's a pretty good rule of thumb, so long as you don't forget to include not doing harm to yourself.

It sounds pretty good, but it's too naive. Some actions will harm somebody no matter what.
For example, if you receive an opportunity, such as a job offer, it harms everyone else who did not receive that job.
Should you not have applied for the position then, or should you turn it down? Would you be harming yourself then?
Also, to whom does 'no one' refer? People? What about animals? Plants? They are all living; how are we to eat?
Does the predator harm it's prey as it struggles to feed itself one more day and continue surviving?

Sure, but how do you decide what harms others? Does it have to be explicit harm? Can it be merely not fulfilling your own potential thereby cheating society from your greater contributions? Does staying up too late so that you are cranky the next day count as harm?

Agree and Disagree.
"Do what makes you happy as long as you don't bother people and animals whom do not want to be bothered", this encompasses mental and physical stress AND mental and physcial pain. Respect people and animals, dont be a ingrate.
Do not harm someone unless they have harmed you (vengeance) or have asked you to harm them (ie, assist in their suicide).

Well, I was going to say disagree based on God's laws, but then I realized that if I break any one of God's laws, any one at all, I would be hurting someone, even if myself. So I agree! Thanks!

Disagree...One should do things to prepare for eternal life. tho your not harming others you may be taking away your chance to be in the Kingdom Of God. And that would be really sad to miss out on the wonders that God has in store for those who love Him...
God Bless and have a safe New Year !

I disagree -- but not for the reasons you think.
I believe it is occasionally right to do something that DOES harm someone. Your rule is too restrictive.
