Ok, im a senior in high school and i like a freshman girl. she is sort of shy and once i got her to open up we have been really good friends. the problem is i dont know if she likes me the way i like her, and her dad is my 8th grade history teacher. so ive asked her to a couple of dances but her parents wont let her go to them because they are too formal. however, i do know that she brings up conversation i have with her some way or another. im pretty sure that she might feel the same way with me as i do her. now she will come up and talk with me and i got her a xmas present and she really liked it. i gave her a xmas hug and it felt really good. one event throws me. earlier the day i gave her the present a kid was asking her who she liked and i was inches from both of them. he went around and she just said yes meaning as friends. but when he came to me, she sort of paused i made eye contact and said just as friends. was this what she reallly meant or is not. she prob would tell anyway
