My crush is pretty popular, and he broke up w/ his GF a month
ago. He always compliments me and makes eye contact. Like he
asked this girl something, then he asked me and was like " I trust
her (me) because she is so honest", and aklways says how nice
my art projects are, but last time he was like "That's ugly", to get
my attention. And he has been eavesdropping when I talk to my
friends. Do you think he likes me, and what should I do when I go
back to school?

OK, try talking to him about this matter when you are alone, like ask him why he does all the nice things or tries to get your attention in some way, cause you are getting signals and you need to know from the sender what kind of signal that are meant to be send to you.
also my dear i think you should do talk to him in case he doesn't like you and that's just his way, or he is just wanting you to like him for his own fun. and in this way i think you will save your self from being hurt and embarrassed!

Talk to him...make more conversations with him. Try to keep yourself calm and make eye contact. Don't look down or the other way and look at his body language...that will give it away. I think he likes you...but before you jump into conclusions talk to him and see where it goes.

Ya I think he likes you. But keep in mind that boy-girl relationships don't always have to be romantic. You could just be his friend at first, then it will advance if you like each other enough.

ok, there is this guy that did that to me. He was popular and me, not so much. But he would do all that. I ended up liking him and i think that is what he wanted. He ended up being a total jerk. But maybe this guy does like you, just be careful
