The duration for my fast will be for 2-3 weeks. I have done this before. So I am not new to fasting. But wanted some tips from you all. Any tips will help. And please no replys saying that I should not fast. Thanks for your help!

I like to run. Last time I fasted, I did not exercise. Is it a bad idea to fast and exercise a little bit? And I plan to drink water and take a muilti vitamin. any other advice?

If the purpose of your fast is to lose weight, then you need to do moderate exercise (like walking or treadmill )to help burn the fat.

Your body's metabolism slows and wants to preserve its energy resources while you fast... it thinks you're in starvation mode, which you are. That's why exercise is important.

Drink at least 4 liters of water every day to help alleviate the empty feeling of your stomach, at least until it shrinks. This also helps flush out body waste and toxins.

Add an extra B and C vitamin tablet to your multi-vitamin for the extra energy and to help your immune system.

Also, get at least 8 hours sleep every night, preferably 10 hours. You don't feel hungry or want to eat while you're asleep.

Rest, pray, meditate, and practice light yoga. Do not turn on the radio or television because the commercials and programs usually reference food more often than we notice. Believe it or not just the mere thought of food awakens the beast of survival. The beast will awaken all of our natural 5 (for some 6) survival senses and our digestive system from the tooter to the rooter and that does our body more harm than good. Fasting for 24 - 48 hours is actually quite beneficial for ridding the body of poisons. In contrast, medical studies have shown that long term fasting is not healthy because several medical problems may arise. For example, kidney stones, low blood pressure, irregular heartbeat, gouty arthritis, headaches or light-headedness, abdominal pain or nausea, decreased urine output, severe cramps, etc. I usually fast for two or three days once or twice a month. The human body can survive on ingested nutrients for a couple of days without negative effects.

I fasted before for 8 days no food no sugar liquids only pure water. If ur gonna fast make sure ur in bed for most of the time after the 4th day u can start to feel has ur gonna faith if u do feel has ur gonna faint just sit down until it passes. Dont get out of ur bed too fastt, make sure u get up slowly cause sometimes u get up too fast u migth faint. Stay in ur bed a lot dont go outside cause this can cause u to faint. good luck if u need any advise email me.

2 - 3 weeks? Wow.. that's pretty intense. Well, drink plenty of water and take vitamins. Please do not try to take on any new strenuous activities or go workout during your fast. That wouldn't be safe. If you are taking in liquids during your fast maybe add in some type of vitamin water or meal supplement just to make sure that you get the vitamins, minerals, protein that your body needs just to function on a daily basis.

going on an allprotien diet before helps transition easier into fasting mode.

In normal fasting you are supposed to eat one meal a day but not meat except for fish, also in place of regular bread you are supposed to unleavened bread.. No beef, pork or chicken. no sweets, no cakes,

What is the point of your fasting? It is unhealthy, because your body will actually store fat longer and go into starvation mode.

What kinda fast you doing you can do a partial fast just eat vegies you dont say plans please describe
