Do you have any idea why there would be a trojan virus on my MotherBoard installation cd?

Do you actually know there is a Trojan virus on your cd? Whats the name of the Trojan virus? Is it on the actual manufacture cd? Not everything your anti virus program reports as a virus, or a Trojan actually is. If the cd came from a reputable company then its most likey a flaw (or feature) with your antiviral program, if your concerned call the motherboard manufacturing company and ask WTF.

The virus may not be in your CD. First format the Hard drive then reinstall the OS. I can give you a link that deals with hard drive problems. Some drive problems can be easily fixed by yourself using easily available tools. I found the info at http://fixit.in useful. Try this site, if you can get what is required
