Ok i'll start from the begining... I thought I had a bladder infection as I used to get these very frequently but have not had one for awhile. I got the frequency but that was the only symptom. That was Dec. 25 . This went away but I started getting pain on my right side in my back left side between the middle of my back and the side. This pain comes and goes. I now today have had a constant pain on my right side same kinda area.... between my spine and right side at the bottom of the rib cage. is this where i would feel kidney pain or may I have just pulled muscles?? I have no clue. If the pain stays I'll have it checked but just thought I would see if anyone would have any clue at all

Could be kidney pain it's in the right area. There is a great deal of difference between a pulled muscle and kidney pain if you have a kidney infection the pain sometimes gets worse quickly and may start to throb. If you have a temperature you need to see a doctor quickly. Drink plenty of water just in case, it's good for you any way. I know from a great deal of experience.

I am an alternative medicinal therapist and an ex nurse and it does sound like your kidneys to me. If you had pulled a muscle it hurts more when you move around - a kidney infection is a constant pain and may it relieved by a hot water bottle, or you may even have a high temperature and shivering. Your urine may be darker than normal, keep an eye on it in case there is any blood present. This can become very serious you MUST see a doctor, pulled muscle or not it's best to go and get either one ruled out. Drink at least 2 to 3 litres of water a day and cranberry juice this helps to flush out any impurities also take garlic (orderless) capsules all year round, this will help build up your immune system. If you have constant infections or colds then this means the immune system is weak. Echinacea caps are very good for this also

The pain you're describing sounds like you might have a kidney stone. If you've had bladder infections frequently, there definitely might be a problem with your kidney, either a stone or something else. Go to the doctor pronto and get it checked. I waited way too long to go to the doc for my pain and the stone caused such a blockage I had to be hospitalized.

I couldn't just sit around and do nothing like my doctors suggested.

They didn't want me to do anything or to take herbs or herbal remedies, but I had to try something - they just wanted me to do dialysis!

This program allowed me to take control of my health. I went from Stage 4 to Stage 3 kidney disease.

It was easy to do and my BUN, creatinine and anemia are all in better ranges.

If your pain is on your sides but it feels like its in your ribs or near your back it could be a stomach ulcer. In June I was sent to the hospital with a pain that started on my left side and had moved to the right side. The hospital had only diagnosed it as a bladder infection. However, I had to go to the E.R. three more times before August because of the pain. Each time it kept getting worse and worse, yet they would still diagnose it as a bladder infection. I got tired of the hospital's diagnoses and went to my family doctor. He in turn sent me to a specialized doctor after checking me out, and that doctor sent me to go get an egd or something similar to that. Turned out I had a stomach ulcer. I advise you to get it checked out soon.

It might be a spinal problem but I would have it checked out. I have had a similar problem and mine was anklo spondolitis (spine). I hope its nothing serious. I would still get it checker out whether its there or not in case in reoccurs. Good luck hope it disappears completely.
