If you eat healthy you wont eat as much so in the end it really is cheaper. Buy food that is in season, and try shopping at generic food places. Aldi's sells fresh fruit and veggies by money amounts, so you can get a bunch of different things and it's only around 1 to 2 dollars per package which is nice when you're on a tight budget. Also drink a glass of water before you eat anything....you'll eat less. good luck

I eat salad all the time...only with lettuce and tomatoes. No cheese. No meat. It's cheap.
