Okay, so i'm looking to buy a decent video camers (not one of those fancy pants ones) for about $80. I need AT LEAST 30 minutes of recording time. All the mini video cameras I've seen so far have 32 MB of space on them. I don't know how long this is in minutes. Anything would work as long as it can be hooked up to the computer and has decent recording time on it and has sound. I love filming, but just stupid videos and such. SO... if anyone can help that would be great.

Tell you what, with $80 you don't get a decent camcorder. The minimum resolution you need is 640X480 and remember any number less than this will give you a crappy quality. And also with this quality you need at least 2 GB of memory. or you can invest a little more and buy a Mini DV camcorder that works with tape, but uploading the video is more difficult.

Unfortunately, $80 will get you... a piece of ****. Ok well maybe not that bad, but nothing "decent". You could try eBay, they might have some miniDV cams used for $80 (i got my GL2 off of eBay used for $1200 less than the MSRP). It sounds like you like to edit your videos, so miniDV is the best choice. If not, and you just like watching your videos after shooting them, get a dvd cam (they might be cheaper as well), but remember Dont even think of editing these, as these were not made to be edited. And although I hate to say this, if you cant find anything else, go to www.aiptek.com and see what they have that fits you. Although most of their stuff sucks, (I would know, I got one as a gift), you might be able to find a really cheap one. Hope this helps!
