2002,03 or 04, I am looking for gas economy and good engine.. can any one help in this regard. God bless you

04 is your best bet. Toyota had a new redesign for the RAV4 in that year. They upgraded to a more powerful engine among other things. the 03 and 02 years had IMO, very under-powered engines with poor performace. The 04 has a 161hp 2.4 liter, which is a very nice improvement. If you're concerned with gas mileage, definately get the FWD, not the 4WD. If you feel so inclined, get the 5 speed manual trans to get even better mileage. For all the years you're looking at, you'll get 24mpg city/29mpg FWD automatic trans.
