After a year and a half of sorting out her problems she dumps me by text message.
I can't sleep and it's 5am what can I do, I feel Sxxx!

Don't worry sky, this is not the last you have heard from her. After a year and a half, she will be sitting there wondering how you have taken the news. I would say you have the upper hand now. She is very childish. This actually shows you the person she is. Very selfish.
It is normal for you to feel like this after such a huge shock. Keep yourself busy tomorrow. Confide in friends or someone in the family you trust. And delete her number! Just give it time. In a few weeks time you will see her in a very different light.

oh i hate people who just don't have the couraje to say this face-to-face...
But I think that you should show her that you don't get down by somebody who can't be serious after so much time and just act like a serious and respectful guy that you've always been.
Meet her, tell her that if this is what she really wants, you'll respect her decision, as long as she'll give you a good reason, if she'll give you a really lame one, just say that you're very disappointed bcos after all this time she should at least know that you won't believe that lame reason and she doesn't even trust you by not telling the truth.
Never let people get you down !

I am so sorry! What a why to tell you! I think after 18 months of you standing by her you deserve better!!!
Why dont youcontact her today and see if you can talk everything
through? you at least deserve an explanation! A text message is a cowards way out but perhaps the only way she could deal with telling you that its over.
You will meet someone else ~ a new year! a new start!

Turn over and forget her then move on.There are plenty more fish in the sea.
Maybe not the easiest thing to do i know.
you could maybe try and talk to her in a few days if you don't feel too bitter and find out why,
I would at least ask why it was in such a nasty way i feel if someone wants to end something however hard it is it should be done face to face and that by text is the worst way there is.

I was dumped last night over the phone by my bf, we were together for 4 years. I couldnt get to sleep last night either and to make matters worse he kept ringing me at 3 in the morning saying one minute he loves me and that he doesnt want to split, then the next saying he does want to. So I know how u feel i felt physically sick. He is going out with with his m8s 4 new years. Iam going out with my best buddies and family, i suggest u do the same to. Try not to think about it. Alot of people have told me what kind of person breaks up with sum 1 over the phone neva mind a txt message !!!!!.If you ask me your better off without sum1 who obviously has no back bone to do it to your face.hope things work out for you.

u know is stupid how people think that thats the best u can break with someone while in the real sense is stupid and childish plus naive,maybe she is tryin to follow britney spears footsteps but i kind of blame u in way cos how can u date someone for a year and half and u didnt study her and notice what she is capable of?that where u was at fault make sure u dont let it happen to your next relationshup and as for your question,dont u think u are better like this now?if u dont ,i do so just find someone better there are alot of gorls looking for honest guys out there all u have to do is look and while looking be friendly and nice

My son was dumped in the same way by a Dutch girl. I am glad she did because he now has a lovely girl....one who really and truly cares for him. You have just got rid of rubbish!! So feel happy and sleep well . Someone who is unable to tell you this face to face is not worth knowing and lets hope someone does it back t her some day!!!!

Go out and find another love. I know it is easy to say but it does work. She doesn't sound a very nice woman. Plaster her phone numbers all over the gents wall offering all types of kinky encounters! It will make you feel better.

Try to sleep and go out with some friends tomorrow night and enjoy yourself.Any time I watch a movie I don't like I get sleepy right away,try that.
