My bible has red print for the words that supposedly were spoken by Jesus. After the gospel of John the red print is all but gone. It does appear but only when Jesus is being quoted from another persons "memory".

Could it be that Paul was making it up as he went along? He should have at least had a little better imagination, don't you think?

Dear Sweet Person, they killed the poor guy, and the first four books describe why. That's the ones with all the red writing. The rest of the books fo the NT deal with what the followers did after they watched him get killed. Some of the words that get quoted as his words are from channelled sources, or his "reappearance."

But yes, Paul was quite like likely making a lot up as he went along, which helpe Simon/Peter smooth over a few bumps. And he did have quite an imagination. He's the one who "saw the light."

Sincerely,

Chris

The Gospels were written around eight to sixty-five years after the death of Christ by his apostles as they were borne along by holy spirit (2 Peter 1:21). These were recollections of Jesus teachings. The books that followed were the workings of Jesus' follows after his death. With the exception of Acts ( which give account of the apostles' works) and Revelation (which give prophesy for future) all the other books are letters to different congregations or followers that gave reports and encouragement to other Christian bothers and sisters. Most letters were written by Paul because he was the one in charge of preaching the kingdom good news to nations; then responsible for reporting back to the Elders. And since he spent a lot of his time in prison for preaching about the Christ his primary form of communication was by letters.

I hope this information helps you understand a little better the Bible. Keep studying and growing in knowledge and understanding.

No, Paul was inspired by the Holy Ghost. Everything after the Gospels, excluding Acts and Revelations, are epistles written to the churches that were being established for people who were already converted (christian). The book of Acts is how the first church started and Revelations are prophecies waiting to be. But Paul, James, John and Peter did not make anything up.

Don't you know that Jesus came back as the Comforter ,The Holy Spirit? All through Acts the Holy Spirit speaks to the Apostles.God is in 3 persons,Father ,Son, and Holy Spirit,1x1x1=1 God.In John 14 ,Jesus says it was important for Him to go away so the Spirit would come and lead them into all truth. As a man Jesus could be only in one place at a time.Through the Holy Spirit,He can be everywhere He needs.Talking to Paul in Ephesus as well as to Peter in Acts 5 and to Phillip as he approached the Ethiopian treasurer and so forth.

After John comes the Acts. as ACTS of the first church of Jesus Christ, the first Christians and what they did after Jesus death. So in the rest of the testaments after John, they're ARE referring to Jesus in past tense. GET IT?
Secondly Paul didn't put the "Bible" together! so..I mean...WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT WOMAN?!!
how is it? that you don't believe because of that?!! Looks like you're trying NOT to believe. Finding every reason you can hu?

as a results of unique sin of our first mum and dad, no person of course born is ideal for heaven. without being born lower back by water baptism, interior the call of God the father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, there isn't any telling the place any specific soul would finally end up. it somewhat is why Christians are mentioned as to unfold the sturdy information approximately Jesus Christ, and to baptize into his church.

Because Saul was the Antichrist...he hijacked Christianity, "took it national" by applying its doctrines to gentiles without having them learn the Torah after they were converted, refocused everyone's attention on building churches, 'eddifying' the physical churches and the collection of "Jesus worshippers", on everyone's righteousness except their own, on paid pastors (whatever you want to call them), on getting and competing to display the "gifts of the spirit", on the teachings that everyone who 'believes on Jesus' automatically goes to heaven after they die (so they need not refrain from judging or charging interest on loans or even trying to live their lives by love).
In short, re-making Christianity to be a different version of the same old religions and establishments that have supported the patriarchal rule of humankind for thousands of years (which Jesus was definately NOT in favor of).

In part you are right. the Gospels were written by the apostles memory or interpretation of what Jesus said to them. most were written years or longer after the death of the apostle and from scrapes of letters that were found at different christian sites. and interpreted by other people.some apostles were gentle and others were harsh. Jesus sorted out what the apostles were by his standards and their personalities.

Try looking at the Book of Revelations. That is after you look at the Book of Acts.

Perhaps a little more getting familliar with the Bible will help you to formulate better questions! ( :

No worries, we all have done things like that.

Thumbs up!

The words of Jesus stop only when people stop sharing the gospel with others. Paul did not imagine walking with, feeding with, eating with, sleeping among, and seeing Jesus be cruicifed.
What do you have a bible for if you dont' believe it's contents.

Luke 9:26 For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels.
