And will the new owners of my car have to first exorcise it, now that it's been repossessed?

They will have to exorcise it in the sense that some titlework will have to be done before the car can be sold.

The bank could have cut you some slack over the holidays. After all, how can you work if you don't have a way to get to your job?

The bible says that if a man owes you money you are not to take his tools, because this is how he makes his money.

If you are not fulfilling your portion of the contract which says to pay a certain amount each month, the bank can legally repossess the collateral that was used for the loan (in this case, the vehicle). Your partial payment does not fulfill your part of the deal. Be prepared to lose your car. Don't keep anything valuable in it. They will repossess it.

If the car was "repossessed" it was taken again from the original possessor, you.
Maybe the over-the-top sarcasm is satanic.

Ooooo, how long did you have to think to come up with that one???

Not long, I hope.

Nope, no satanism here. Just the bank being responsible when you weren't.

If you left a Barry Manilow CD in the car....I do believe it will have to go through an exorcism.

I have known some banks that I thought were associated with Satan. (sarcastic attempt at humor)

Yes, and don't count on the police to help you, because possession is nine tenths of the law, ha ha.

No, it means that you're possessed for buying a car on credit.
