Some are truly demon possessed.
The Bible describes demon possession just like someone who is having a seizures. Now I'm not saying that everyone that has seizures are actually possessed, but in some cases that is a sign of possession

There are tw types of demons . 1. The demons from the other side are evil and they are always on the look out for a new place to dwell meaning a new person to live in and if on or more gets in you you can't get rid of them your self . Some demons are so powerful even a priest can't help you. 2. Now these are the demons that most of us know about. When we give our selves over to sin this is a demon . Alcohol, drugs, porn, perverted sex, lire,theft,stealing these are demons and they can torment you as you can see most of these are sins and if you know your bible Jesus says your sins are forgiven and the people were cured.

Because the bible was written by bronze age goat herders not 21st century doctors. Usually people have seizures as the result of diseases like epilepsy or brain injuries not fictitious supernatural beings.

There is nothing in the bible that says that. Just because that one man's son was posessed and foaming at the mouth does not in any way imply that all seisure victums are posessed by a demon. My own mother had epiliepsy and she was a Christian.
There are many things and ailements of the bible that were used for the sole purpose of demonstraiting Jesus healing powers ,as an indication to the people that the son of God was before them and living among them. And that prophecy had come to pass and was standing in the flesh before them.

I know - it's silly. And many people on here are still stuck in that mindset. I just watched a show on tv where a poor girl in Peru was born with a birth defect where her legs were fused (making it look like a mermaid, sortof). Western medicine and science came and saved her and successfully separated the legs. People in the village were convinced that it was due to a water demon impregnating the mother (!!!!!). And those on this site who are CONVINCED they've witnessed demonic possession aren't much different. I've witnessed severe psychoses and severe psychological struggles from people who had depression and bulimia. One person close to me who suffered from bulimia and depression literally became a different person and had paranoid hallucinations when she was in one of her binge modes. And it was all due to her mind. I can see someone metaphorically describing it as demonic possession but to treat it as a real, literal possession would have prevented her from getting real help. I saw a show on tv where a preacher who 'treats' demonic possession is keeping people from getting the help they need by supporting their delusion. It's sad -- many on here are doing the same thing because they link it to their whole belief system.

Lets be clear, there is no place in the Bible that states seizures equal demon possession. If there is a place in the Bible that state otherwise please quote the chapter and verse where it is found. At that point we can have a discourse and aid you with an answer.

It doesn't. It described some of the demon possessed as having seizures but nowhere does it say that seizures are due to demon possession.

Seizures can be caused by a neurological problem or by demonic possession.

It does NOT.
The Bible makes full distinction between the sick with seizures etc. and the possessed.
