AS-IS means that you will have to pay for any and all repairs that the vehicle may need. The Seller is not responsible for any repairs.

What you see is what you get!

Have the car checked out by your own mechanic prior to purchase!!

It depends on if you buy from a dealer or individual. Dealers have implied superior knowledge and therefore in most states have a duty to apply a 3 day consideration BUT it depends on each state. I am sorry I don't know particilarly about S.C.

Regardless of if you are buying from an individual or a dealer, it would be worth $35-70 to have a mechanic look the car over. It may save you from buying a car that needs thousands of dollars of repair or give you peace of mind for the money you spend on a car.

It basically means that you have the right to pay for any needed repairs out of your own pocket. No warranty means just that -- no warranty.

Get an independent inspection before you buy.
