I am reading a book, "The Watch that Ends the Night". but i dont understand the last sentence ! someone plz help me translate it! thnx

Here's what I think it means:
"Now it (or he or she) sleeps (or rests) in me."
Does that make sense in context?

I haven't read the book, so can't be certain of hitting the right note, but the safest translation is "now be at peace in me."

Sounds a bit morbid, but it's something like "Now, rest (in peace) on me"
