Does anyone know what these switches are? They are to the left of my cigarette lighter, they say warning lights, and there are 2 switches (one for the front and one for the rear). When I flip them a light comes on the switch but nothing happens on the outside of the truck. What are these?

Go to the hardware store and get a 2004 Ford FX4 car manual. it will tell you there. If you don't check it from a reliable source, you won't get a right answer!

They are optional accessory switches there's nothing installed on your truck I would guess, but the newer trucks had the option of accessory switches with certain vehicle options. For example you can have warning lights installed, one could be for a winch etc. Sounds like you bought this truck used, so apparently whatever was connected to those switches the previous owner or the dealer removed them.

I have no idea. These switches aren't on my 04 FX4. Maybe somebody else installed them aftermarket?

thay might be air bags or something totaly diffrent but you can look at your owners manual and check what they are and what they do or you could call ford and ask them but i would read the owners manual first
