Stop washing your hair...ok, just kidding. Honestly though, unless you have extremely oily hair you do not have to wash your hair every day. If you feel that you must wet your hair each day, do just that, wet it. After wetting, use a light conditioner. It is the shampoo that dries out your hair.
If you "blow out" your hair, use a leave-in product that contains silicon, like Sebastian Laminates Crema Styler Anti-Frizz Control. Dry hair until it is about 85% dry. Now start the straightening process, with the dryer on medium heat. Do NOT use a round brush (hair tends to get stuck and break off). Use a paddle brush and keep the brush facing down.
If you have curly hair, again you want silicon. Try Sebastian Laminates Curl, and let your hair air dry. If you must blow dry, use medium heat with a diffuser.
Finish off with a smoother containing silcon, like Paul Mitchell Gloss Drops.

The only remedy for split ends is to get them chopped off. Go for a trim three times a year, and get just the ends chopped off if you are trying to grow your hair. Stop blowdrying your hair for a while. Egg is an excellent conditioner. Apply egg to your hair and shampoo with cold water after half an hour.
to get silky, smooth, shiney hair..try this out:Give your hair an oil massage once a week, including steam, so your hair absorbs the oil well. After this, apply egg to your hair. Egg conditions and soften hair, and gives it a shine. Switch to a milder shampoo

Regular trimming of your hair is the only way to get rid of split ends and keep them from coming back. It is also important to condition your hair every time you wash it to protect it from getting too dry. Dryness can cause split ends.

Split ends are like broken nails, the only way you can get rid of them is by triming them off. Try some conditioner like VO5 in the future to prevent split ends.

Get your ends cut off. That is the only thing that ever works well. Special products have never seemed to work for me or any of my friends. You need your hair cut every couple of months to keep it healthy any way.
