If you eat nuts (cashews, pistachio, almonds) this will help curve cravings and is healthy. Also, salsa with baked tortilla chips (watch the salt). You have to eat both with moderation, ie.no more that 10 cashews, 15 pistachios, 10 almonds, 12-15 chips and as much salsa you want. You can munch for days on celery sticks, carrots and other veggies at night without the added calories. You can also make non-fat jello (sugar-free) put ginger ale in it. Hope this helps.

We all get the craving for a midnight snack now and again, the best way to get away from that is my eating a good dinner with a lot of water. If you did decide to get up and find something to eat try to stay away from the sweets for one that's a given and secondly this is not intended to be a meal have a small portioned snack and go back to bed.

90% of people can't tell the difference between thirst and hunger about 75% of the time. If you feel like a late night snack, drink a tall glass of water. If in 15 minutes you still feel hungry try things that are light and easy to digest. I'm a fan of arrowroots and bananas.

Oh, in the past beginning bigger doses of prednisone, each thing that I ate grow to be healthful. A previous due-night snack could have been vegetables dipped in low--fat Ranch dressing, or something comparable. final night's previous due-night nutrition yearning had me working for the Crunch and Munch. Butter Toffee flavored. With Almonds. *sigh* With prednisone, each meal is a dinner party, all meals are elegant ...

I eat a spoonful of peanut butter or an ounce or 2 of cheese, usually melted if I am hungry before bed. Sometimes I have some fruit if I am wanting something sweet.

i know what you mean! when i am hungry at night i take a rice cake, top it with some mozzarella or pepperjack cheese and microwave it for a few seconds. when it comes out, put a slice of tomato on top. really good & good for you. more like a healthy pizza than a rice cake.

For me, when I get hungry, it's usually at like midnight so I make myself a bologna sandwich with sharp cheddar cheese and it does the trick. but when I don't have any sandwich stuff, I slice some cucumbers and munch on those.
