She existed in the Old testament, and rebelled against God. She was destroyed.
The spirit of rebellion and witchcraft in the New testament is called jezebel, and will also be destroyed.
Also, there is Elijah, and the spirit of Elijah.

Jezebel was a real person. She was the wife of Ahab, who led Israel into sin (1Kings 16:31), and her life of treachery amounted to nothing (2Kings 9:35)
In the Thyatira Church you should read Revelation 2:20 where it talks about the immorality of Jezebel.

Yes. There are more than one mentioned in the bible, but the real dozzy was a Baal worshiper who led her Hebrew King / Husband astray.
You can read about her in 1st Kings 16:31. And it came to pass, as if it had been a light thing for him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, that he took to wife Jezebel the daughter of Ethbaal king of the Zidonians, and went and served Baal, and worshipped him.
32. And he reared up an altar for Baal in the house of Baal, which he had built in Samaria.
She killed Gods prophets at the time.
1st Kings 18: 4. For it was so, when Jezebel cut off the prophets of the Lord, that Obadiah took an hundred prophets, and hid them by fifty in a cave, and fed them with bread and water.)
Her death was pretty rough. She was eaten by dogs...
2nd Kings 9:36. Wherefore they came again, and told him. And he said, This is the word of the Lord, which he spake by his servant Elijah the Tishbite, saying, In the portion of Jezreel shall dogs eat the flesh of Jezebel:
She was real and became a term associated with an untrustworthy, backstabbing, conniving woman.

She was a real and wicked woman in Old Testament, and she was destroyed.
It is an evil spirit that controled her that is still in the world today.

She was a woman who rebelled against what the male dominated society said she should do. As were most of the women in the Bible.
