To understand a cornerstone of other cultures. Unfortunately, so much hot air is expelled in the U.S. over indoctrinating kids into a particular brand of Christianity - something we long ago said we wouldn't do. On the contrary, an academic study of "religions of the world" should be mandatory. But, the fundies will never have it, because for intelligent kids, studying other religions exposes the ridiculous nature of all of them. That's bad for Christianity.

I'm so thankful that I know about my Lord because I wouldn't want to miss out on that wonderful opportunity to be in the Kingdom of God and miss out on Eternal life.
