You could aways go to the birth's , marraiges and deaths office inyour local city or even look at the obituaries in old news papers. Good luck!

You need to know the city, county & state the person might have died in then contact the county clerk's office of that state. You could also contact the states vital records office.

However, most of these contacts will search a limited # of yrs. You will need to contact them also to find out how much they charge. You will have better luck getting someone to search the last 15 yrs if the death took place in a relatively small county.

If you know the person's social security # you can obtain this information by searching "social security death records" which are available online.

If the person is there, they died. However, if they are not there they may have died anyway. If you are a Candaian, give it up.
