There is no problem with it what so ever. It is a source of legal and valid income that keeps her from living on the streets. Why would a person's legal job define if you would go out with them or not. If that were the case then any leader of a country would be suffering major problems ...
Put bluntly I have never met a bar maid that I couldn't talk to, both on and off the clock. Friendly, kind and considerate - bar staff are people oriented and that is what actually makes them such a great companion to have.
