Jesus never taught it, therefore I do not believe in it.
There is a big difference between the Rapture and the Resurrection.
The Bible teaches that the resurrection will take place at the end of the tribulation, not before it.
"It wasn't until the early or mid 1800's that there was any significant group of believers around the world that looked for a "rapture" of the Church prior to a seven-year tribulation. The "rapture" teaching was not taught by the early Church, it was not taught by Church of the first centuries, it was not taught by the Reformers, it was not taught by anyone until about the year 1830.
The doctrine of the "PRE-TRIB RAPTURE" can be credited to what began in Scotland in 1830. A young girl named Margaret MacDonald had a dream of the coming of the Lord before the great tribulation. Several Bible teachers and preachers of that day picked up on this thought and started teaching it.

The word Rapture doesn't exist in the Bible. It's translated from the words "to be caught up" which we find in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17. In this context I believe in the Rapture (that at the Second Coming of Jesus we will be caught up/raptured with Him in the air). However, the teaching that believers will mysteriously disappear leaving unbelievers behind is not Biblical. When Jesus comes for the second time "every eye will see Him" (Rev 1:7).

In the book of Revelation found in the Holy Bible you will find seven times this saying,"He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches" First time it says this is Re 2:7 then Re 2:11 then Re2:17 then Re2:29then Re3:6 then Re3:13 and the last time Re 3:22
In Re 13:9 it reads," If any man have an ear, let him hear.
What happened to the Spirit? Where are the Churches?

Here is the Rapture in the bible...
Revelation 4:1-2 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
shew Gen 41:25, Dan 2:29, Dan 2:45
2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.
Yes I do believe in the rapture and I will be a part of it. Praise the Lord!!

Rapture:
At an unknown hour and day the Lord Jesus will descend from heaven, while remaining in the air, he will snatch his Bride, the Church, out from among this sinful world. Christ then takes the Church to heaven for the 7 year wedding feast. The earthly reason for the removal of the Church is to make way for the rise of Antichrist and to fulfill Daniel's final 70th week.
(Mat 25:13), (1 Thes 4:16-18), (1 Cor 15:51-54)

Here's my question back to you...
Do you believe the bible? If you do, then you have to interpret a few important pieces of scripture, that talk about such an event. Although don't search for the word "rapture", because you won't find it. Instead, you'll see phrases such as, "Caught Up" to describe the event.
If you don't believe the bible, then why even think about this one event described in the bible?
Bottom line, if you believe the bible, then you should be prepared for the rapture. I sure am. And I'm looking forward to it!

Yes. The bible never calls it the rapture but he will come like a thief in the night in the twinkling of an eye for his followers. I hope it is soon. This world is terrible

Yes, I believe this is what the Bible teaches.
But.....I think the more important matter is right now. We should be concerned with our relationship with God, and act accordingly. There are many things Jesus taught about that we should concentrate on and act on..... Whatever is going to happen is going to happen, and we should just be prepared.I guess as humans, we want to know things ahead of time so we can feel secure and in control. One thing I have learned as I have gotten older, I am in control of very few things........

I believe in the Rapture, and that it will happen before the Tribulation, but I could be wrong, and there are many fine Christians who disagree with me.
If you believe that Jesus lived, was crucified, rose from the dead and is in heaven today, you shouldn't have any problem believing that he will return. He said he would.

Oh yes, Oh yes, Oh yes
1 Thessalonians 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive [and] remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
4:17 Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Revelation 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they [also] which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
Matthew 24:27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
24:28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
24:31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
