Yes, Chick-fil-A DID invent the Chicken Sandwich. Sure, for years mom and pops have put chicken on bread and served a Chicken Sandwich. Although, Founder Truett S. Cathy was the first to market and sale a seasoned boneless chicken breast and place it on a bun. At the time of this creation, a Chicken Sandwich in the restaurant industry was UNHEARD OF! Most people don't know this fact, but Chick-fil-A was also the first restaurant to sell a "Chicken Nugget". McDonalds came out with the McNugget several months after Chick-fil-A.

Absolutely Not
they may have made the present day Chick Fil-a sandwich (their own blend of the this and that's) But they did NOT invent the chicken sandwich-----that honor goes to the very first person whoever it was-- that slapped a chunk of chicken in between two pieces of bread--- and I'm sure that that was LONG before fast food places were even a remote idea !!!!

Considering that both chicken and sandwiches were around for a few hundred years BEFORE Chick-fil-a was started...no. I doubt that no one put a piece of chicken between two slices of bread before that chain came about. They may have invented their version, but that's it.

Technically, the Earl of Sandwich wanted something he could eat while playing cards, which is where the idea of sandwiches came from. Meat between two pieces of bread. Given that there is no way to find out what the Earl had on his sandwich, I can't say for sure he had the first chicken sandwich. But, no, they didn't invent the sandwich, though their food is good.

i admire Chick-Fil-A! And sure, it is so obtrusive that McDonalds is copying them. not basically have they have been given the sandwich, yet now they have the chicken and biscuit breakfast difficulty.i assume Chick-Fil-A would desire to be getting universal sufficient to make McDonalds get all aggressive with them. the difficulty that sucks is that lots of folk have not even heard of Chick-Fil-A yet, yet each and every physique sees McDonalds provides. it somewhat is perhaps that each and every physique will finally end up thinking Chick-Fil-A copied McDonalds. I hate companies that try this.i've got not tried the sandwich from McD's and that i don't plan on it. I infrequently ever consume there besides.

Hardly. They invented the recipe they use, but the chicken sandwich has been around in one form or another as long as there has been bread and chicken.

Their recipe is tasty.
