I like one of my friends, and I know he likes me too. But he tries not to, and the way he does it is trying to avoid me and not talk to me. But all it is doing is making me feel like I am not loved. I am sure he likes me, but I think it like a thing that he is not who I think he is. He is cute, he is sweet, and he plays football, so he takes care of himself. He does have one bad thing about him though. When he's around his friends, he tends to be even more annoying with not talking to me. But I think he has a bad past or something that screws him up with relationships. Either he is playing hard to get, or he DOES have a bad past. So what should I do with him? Ignore him and find someone else to like, or something else??? He is really breaking my heart with this act he is doing!!!

People that play hard to get deserve not to be 'gotten'. If he's a player, or a self absorbed, or emotionally distant or immature, or socially clueless, then why catch him? You'll only have to fix him and carry the relationship. Keep him as a friend and wait for him to grow up a little and make the first move.

men should not treat women that way. if he does have a problem, he may need help. if not then you should talk to him and see why he acts the way he does when with his friends. maybe if he knew how you feel it might make a change. do not put up with b.s. , good luck

If he's breaking your heart, find someone else that will treat you with more respect. And if he's ignoring you so much, maybe he doesn't like you anymore. If he notices you with other people maybe he'll realize how much he likes you.

I don't believe it is an act. Sounds like he has poor communcation and social skills. The thought of approaching you intimately probably scares the crap out of him. If you have patience deal with his mannerisms, if not, I would recommend you move on.

alot of guys are like that. i've been in your situation alot...i'd say they are immature and maybe they have too many secrets. never straightforward...always has a mask on. self absorbed...just do yourself a favor and find someone else.
