Just press your finger on it hard like your thumb on the zit, and apply pressure that is if it's a whitehead. Now, if it's just red, I wouldn't bother, and then put an ice cube for a little bit and Vitamin E which heals skin.

Salt the water thoroughly -- much more than you think it needs.
Dip one cotton ball in the salt water.
Wait for 30 - 60 seconds.
Squeeze out excess water out until it is damp, but not dripping.
Place the damp cotton ball over your large, oh-my-goodness-I-cannot-go-to-the-prom-with-THAT zit. If you have several of these grouped together, try to place the cotton ball over them all.
Glance at your watch/clock. Wait exactly three minutes.
Remove the cotton ball after the time is up. The zit seems to be nearly gone, but it is only the top that has dissolved. Your acne is still there.
Take the other two cotton balls and place them on either side of the despised pimple.
Slowly, move them closer together until the tiny bump is flattened. Congrats! You've just conquered that giant of a pimple -- forever.

Believe me when I say, leave it alone!!! If you have to cover it with make-up, then do so. If you make a mistake and it starts oozing, you are going to have a mess on your hands. I had a zit once the size of a grain of salt that I obsessed about and picked at with proactive that turned into this big oozing chemical burn that was so embarrassing. I learned my lesson, leave things alone. Apply a hot towel to it to see if it goes down and pop an ibuprofen and go on about your business. If you can find sulfur or the Murad Acne Spot Treatment, then use that after the hot wash cloth. Good Luck!!

I have an acne cure that has won me the best answer three times. Each time, the person said it worked great. I'll copy and paste it below.

Use a hot compress on it, and then use cool water to close the pores. Do the process over and over again, about five or six times. Use soap to wash the area, and then treat it with an alcohol soaked cotton ball. It should be gone within five to six hours.

There is no quick and easy way to make it totally disappear....sorry. One thing is for certain, the more you mess with it.....the more noticable it will be. Maybe just put some ice on it without any real pressure. For the party, try using some concealer over it....I wouldn't pop it at all....it could make it worse. If these are a chronic problem, maybe ask your parents for a trip to a dermatologist....for some meds. But rest assured, usually they disappear with age......

Okay, if its a whitehead (if u see white) cleanse the entire area and ur hands. Then, gently press from the sides until it pops. Clean the whole thing, and dont touch it. One of my fave remedies is Clearisil Ultra Vanishing cream for acne (10% benzoyl peroxide-gets rid of zits) Did wonders on giving me clear skin. Good luck!

The Salon that I go to has some special tool they use to dry it out. Its the best thing. I go there to get waxed & dye my brows & lashes. So I would go to a Professional Salon. It wouldnt be expensive.
You might also try "Clean & Clear". You apply 3 times a day & it w/dry it out. But this only works if its just red & swollen.
I would locate a Salon

You could pop it,but it could leave a mark, buy some Noxzema, put it on your face, leave it on,then wash it off by splashing water all over your face.If you don't want to do that then just wash the Noxzema off your face with a Wash towel.
