here are some choices.
#1 place a little bit of salsa or something slightly spicy in the cats mouth after it bites.or get some waterproof gloves and put spicy stuff on it and play with the cat.^O.O^
#2 Bite it's ear or grab the back of her neck, hold her about a foot away from your face and stare at it with anger to show whos boss.seriously. they need to understand that you don't like them biting!
#3with a tense voice say: NO! andpoint at her.if the ears go back don't suck up to her...that will make her worse.

You can't. I've had my tweek for about a year and a half. She can be the sweetest little kitty, and then, out of no where ATTACK! she just knows when shes done and wants you to know. Cats are very independant animals. I think your only hope is time - she's still VERY young. Give her two more years. She could calm down. You do know that 5months is still kitten stage? Because it is.. you cant expect too much good behavior from kittens
What i wouldnt do is punish her while she is in your hands because then she will associate you holding her with whatever punishment you choose. The only the i would do (and this probably wont even work) is to just put her down and stop petting her and ignor her for a while.

I know how you feel, I have a 3 year old "KITTEN"(not) who just bites me even when he knows we're just messing with him. I asked my vet and he said that he still has some teeth coming in yet and its helping him deal with the pain. I guess I mean he's already going on to 4 years. But what i do is you can go to any pet store and buy this solution called "bitter apple" (i think) and put that on your hands and she'll rarely bit again. I hope this helped! Let me know what you end up doing

My three year old rescue cat did this! It's more common with kittens, of course. The only thing I can really suggest that worked with my cat, is to stop playing with your cat at once if she does this, and say disapprovingly 'No, [insert cat's name]'
This took many months for my cat, now she licks me rather than biting, but at least it's less painful!
Hopefully, if you say 'no' and leave, your cat will soon realise that biting you means no playtime!

Try using a water bottle to spray her when she does it, or a can of air works for our cats. I don't know why cats do this but my family had a cat who would randomly bite people. And he would bite hard, not being playful. You definitely need to stop it while she's young.

if your cat is declawed , she will do this because when they are declawed it is there only defence. when she does this, it also means she does not want to play any more, the only way to stop this habit ,is to stop playing with the cat the minute she starts biting. keep in mind that your cat still loves you, but she does not want to play anymore she wants to rest. As she gets older your cat will calm down.

Part of a cat's nature in their natural play it is a learning process for them hunting later on in life. That helps them become good ratters when they grow up. i.e. keeping all the rats and mice killed off.
A lot of cat trainers and owners often refer to that at the 4 o'clock crazies in kittens.

perhaps he would not comprehend he's been "fastened" Male cats will chew women on the lower back of the neck in the process the breeding basically to hold the female nevertheless. The 'chew' would not destroy the exterior.
