Go to www.mustangs.com.au/html/codes/code-1965 and it breaks everything down letter by letter and tells you how the car came equipped. That is assuming that the driver's door is original to the car. If it isn't then you will know how the car was equipped that the door came off of. Also, if the car has the original seats, you may be able to find the "build sheet''. This is a sheet that was placed in the car as it came off the assembly line showing EXACTLY how the car was built-hence the name. It will be under one of the seats between the springs and the foam rubber. Usually it is under the passenger seat, but I have found them under the driver seat and underneath the back seat cushion (the seat part). Be careful if you find it when you start taking it out. The paper is over 40 years old and is deteriorating, so it will most likely come out in pieces. Hopefully, you will have enough to tell how the car was originally equipped. Good luck in your endeavor.
