I have medium thickness hair with a slight wave to it. When I blow dry it I can get it pretty straight. I just want it to be really glossy and bouncy so that my hair just shines in the light..

Airbrush your pictures like the people who have that kind of hair do.

Go to a salon and get your hair glazed for the glossy and shiny hair. Also get some products recommended by the stylist to maintain the gloss.

Also ask the stylist about the bouncy look. I'm sure he/she can help with that also.

I know exactly what you are looking for! you should change your shampoo and condition. and only wash every other day. Visit your nearby drug store and buy Pantene Pro V shampoo and condition. i love it, and actually just had to go out a buy it yesterday bc my bottle ran out! Well, i personally recommend that product, nothing else works as well and I have had the similar problem as yours. Read the label and see which one works best for you. Volume and Shine.... for colored hair... dry to normal hair... etc. good luck, but I think you should change your shampoo first and then we can talk about styling it, but I promise your hair will feel and look healthier, shinier, and bouncy like you want it and less styling.

I highly recommend Dove's shampoos and conditioners. My hair used to be very coarse, dull, and uncontrollable, but those products do make a difference. A tiny bit of shine serum/spray (got2b or John Frieda) also takes it up to the next level--but just a tiny bit: a little goes a long way!

I don't know about the bouncy part but you can go to a salon and get a gloss treatment. It's like a clear dye job sort of but only adds shine.

Ohhhhh I have the perfect thing for you. I works like a miracle. I use Sabastions Potion Number Nine. Everyone always tells me how beautiful my hair is and I just say "thanks". ;-) This stuff is God Sent!

It's about $14 for a tube. My hair is down to my waist and it lasts a lone time. You can get it at CVS and other places.

Also I agree with the person below me. My hair is naturaly curly and I use Pantene conditioner. Can't use anything else.

An odd answer is use one third a cup of white vinegar to two thirds a cup of water mixed together and rinse your hair with the solution.

Go to a local store and ask the same thing you asked right now. I'm sure they'll have something. Or go to a hair salon.
