We knew he had the WMD, chemical, biological weapons. Congress knew as well. We sold them to him to use in the Iran-Iraq war. What do you suppose he murdered all his adoring citizens with...harsh language? The worthless UN played games, making profit off the oil for food scam and gave him time to move the stuff. Common sense ought to guide one here. People die in war. Not a fresh new concept. Saddam was not the goal here. Neither was Bin Laden. Iran and bringing down the theocracy there is the main goal. Not oil, not vendetta...it's all out there, you just have to look for it.

I know that in 1991Congress, with the UN's d**k in their mouth, would not allow President (41) Bush to take out Sadaam after he invaded and raped Kuwait. We (the US) the pussyfooted around under the lack-of-leadership period when HillBill Clinton was president and did nothing but hope and whine that Iraq wasn't complying with the UN resolutions passed after Desert Storm.

This would be like a parolee getting out and violating the terms of his release OVER and OVER, but being given TEN YEARS worth of warning that he was going to be busted.

Thats what I have concluded with the FACTS and my own experience during the first Gulf War.

The WMD's you and all the Liberal Zealots argue never were....Are and have not been located even though it is a documented fact that several US administrations, along with European "so-called Allies," ET AL, gave WMD's of various assortments to Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, and Egypt throughout the late sixties and the early eighties when we/they believed all were our friends. (Apparently, before your time, but true never-the-less)

What should trouble all you lefties is that many of these WMD's have never been accounted for but are probably in the hands of people who want to destroy us, and they very likely will get an opportunity to fashion some type of dirty WMD with components supplied by our government or one of our "so-called friends."

That's what I think about that....THANKS FOR ASKING!!

Saddam was considered to have weapons of mass destruction. That of course as we all know is false. Bush in fact knew that there were no weapons of mass destruction he just figured that since he was invading Afghanistan that when he captures Osama(which he never did) he would be a hero so he wanted to add to his glory by making up some BS excuse to go into Iraq too. Bush in my opinion is by far the worst president in the US history. He should not have gone into Iraq. He should have focused on the main target Osama because he openly admitted to destroying the WTC and bush accused Saddam of taking part in it. Here is what it looks like in math:
after 9/11:
100% of troops in Afghanistan
After decision to invade Iraq:
30% of troops in Afghanistan
70% of troops in Iraq

Bush took his eye off of the main goal and lost real badly because of it. He has afterthought and not forethought

you forgot to mention millions of Muslims murdered by American, Israeli, British, Japanese and Netherland forces. a SINGLE human death will be accounted for in this world and hereafter, rest assured. Morality will prevail and this world will not be allowed to be annihilated by actions of USA, Britain, Israel, etc. We need a peaceful world, not a world that is full of idiots like Bush.

I think you're very misinformed to start with. Saddam raped, tortured, and murdered 100's of 1000's maybe even millions. He used weapons of mass destruction on his own people, the Kurds... Our soldiers are not illiterate. They're doing a job that they signed up to do, and that is go where, and when they're called. They VOLUNTEERED to do so.

The WMD's have been found but the liberal news media doesn't report what they don't want the sheeple to hear.

You need to quit listening to idiots like the "Air America" crowd.
