Everyone's preference is different. Some people say opposite's attract. I've noticed that shy guys seem to be with loud girls now that you mention it. '-)

Loud and outgoing is annoying. Shy can be annoying if the girl is too shy to even talk at all. I mean, I don't want to be pestered by some loud chick and I don't want to have to struggle to get a conversation going. I also don't want to have to guess if I have a chance with a girl. The really quiet ones sometimes give the impression that they don't want anything to do with anyone, and it's misleading in that way. Good night!

i think I'm a pretty shy guy and i prefer loud and outgoing girls because when I'm with a loud and outgoing girl i dont feel as shy and i feel more comfortable. I'm think most shy guys prefer girls that are a bit opposite of what they are because opposites attract

I think most shy guys would be more likely to go for a girl who is outgoing and who will make the moves in the relationship. It probably depends on the person though.

When I USED to be shy, I actually preferred the outgoing girls because in a way they helped me break out of my shyness by pulling me in to their circle of friends. Shy girls are nice but depending on the degree of shyness, it may be hard to try to strike up a conversation.

Well my boyfriend is shy and I'm kind of shy but I guess I can be out going to. Being with him showed me that sometimes I do need to be a little out going to liven up the party haha

It depends on the person. An extroverted girl can complement a shy guy nicely. On the other hand, many people like a partner who is like themselves.

Never heard of there being a preference, I would say shy people might feel more comfortable around someone who was like them.
