I reccommend letting it stay down and simple.
Use a wide-toothed comb after conditioning to seperate curls.
After shower, coat hair in a frizz serum or leave-in conditioner.
Use wide-toothed comb, again.
Use towel to scrunch hair upwards. Try to scrunch from tip to root.
For more definition, use mousse or gel. Scrunch it in.
Use towel to scrunch and remove excess product.
Let airdry as much as possible. Use diffuser and low heat if you blowdry.

style it in any way you want to. be yourself and not what you think you should look like.
although styling in a ball to creat the effect of a bikers helmet is definately not a good look.
but it is your life. live it your way, and do what you want that makes you happy.
the only person in the world you see everyday and who you have to be happy with is yourself.
if you are happy with and in yourself then this will come accross to others and so you make yet more friend making them happy to be near you and you happy to be with them.
your choice at the end of the day. be an individual a leader and not a sheep or one of the crowd.
unless that is what you prefer to be.
just my personal opinion.

A loose bun will show off the curls but also get it off your neck. That's more of a fancy hairstyle. If it's more of a casual event, a high ponytail with the curls cascading down will look amazing! Side ponytails will also look good too. I have tried these looks myself, I have curly hair too. Maybe not as long as yours, though. Mine is shoulder length.

it would look really nice pulled half back with a few wispy pieces around your face left out. long curly hair always looks good half back and it doesnt take lots of time

I say leave it natural or straighten it. I think going to a salon is good advice too if you can afford to. And straightening doesn't cost too much to have them do it. It costs $20 at my salon.

you will desire to locate a curl cream. Umm, my hair is thick too & sort of wavy sort of not... if it somewhat is wise. If it air dries it somewhat is a wavy, blow dry it basically gets huge, and that i exploit a curling iron to straighten it & get the frizzies out. besides... i've got tried lots of different issues too. not something removes the frizz or makes it soft, maximum products & serums basically make my hair grimy. I had tried a Pantene (curl cream) product as quickly as. I swear it became large... i think of it somewhat is mentioned as Pantene ProV moisturizing curl cream shaper... something. it somewhat is in a around pump bottle, shorter than a shampoo bottle, approximately as huge around as a huge shot glass, and the writing is purple. I positioned it in my hair after washing, while my hair is moist and comb it by. (I comb it by to distribute it, yet it somewhat is me) i exploit a sprint gel too. Then I blow dry or air dry. once I blow dried it, they curls have been defined and not frizzy interior the least. i'd desire to apply some hairspray too, the different way up. and it will final a pair days too. (i don't wash my hair common...too dry) And to rejuvinate it basically scrunch with water. (my bro calls this 2d day gel!!!) I would desire to blow dry (low warmth) or my hair gets flat, which i do unlike. it variety of feels to get dirtier quicker too. yet it somewhat is me. you would be able to would desire to not towel or blow dry. It worked large for me. there are possibly lots of different products (& so lots extra expensive) that are meant for a similar difficulty. yet this one i've got tried and it works. listed below are some i've got tried. The Dove spray-easy blue bottle, can not remember what it somewhat is call. i don't think of it somewhat is a bypass away in conditoner. That worked ok. And the Aussie spray bypass away in conditioner is okay. The Sunsilk anti-poof works quite lots too. i attempted the lavatory Frieda-amazing brunette (once I darkened my hair) Starlit waves, and that works prettttty nicely too. listed below are some i've got tried...& they did not artwork for me. it somewhat is precious to to pass those too. Aussie bypass away in conditioner/mousse-no. organic essence none of your frizzness no. Garnier soft & smoth bypass away in conditioner--UGH no. Made my hair sticky . some L'Oreal, studio line, ugh, sticky too. whew. ok. perhaps that'll help. in any different case i assume it somewhat is basically extra trial and blunder till you detect one that works.
