well, if it keeps you off meth, stay there dont move in with the old crowd. Ive found that after a year or so those old drugfriends are mostly gone anyway, in jail or just vanished, or quit too, and good riddance. Save up the money you would have wasted on meth and paying rent, get a decent job or education, and go to europe for a month or so to celebrate.

I believe that if you've been clean for a year, then you're taking a step into controlling a part of your life. Take another step, by getting a secure job or going to school. Only society pushes people to get out of their home at 18 and younger. Some situations are a lot different and deserves to be treated with other solutions. Find a goal and keep working for it. And soon enough moving out won't be a problem.

Congratulations on getting past your meth problem. It sounds like your parents are providing you with a supportive home that is a help to you. Set your focus on making the next year clean and work on improving your job qualifications. Don’t worry about living with mom and dad – that’s the least of your worries.

God bless you and kudos to you for getting clean! That takes an incredibly strong person. I think considering that information it's probably BEST for you to be at home with your parents. It's easier to slip back into that lifestyle if you don't have someone there to help hold you accountable. God bless & keep you from those terrible, life-destroying drugs!

I moved back with my mom after my divorce when I was 28. I always considered her home like a family nest. We (me and my siblings) are free to fly away and do our own thing but if we ever get in trouble, we always have a place to return back to.

If it is helping you to stay clean, please stay with your parents. There is nothing wrong with it.

I don't think it's ever wrong to live with your parent's. Some culture's do not leave the house until they are married. My answer is there is absolutely nothing wrong with. I think your lucky that you have parent's willing to help you out. Enjoy them! '-)
