No. Doctors call them different things but their all a virus. The only difference is when you have the flu they can give you something to calm your pain and/or throwing up / diarrhea so you don't dehydrate. Some viruses last only a day or two and all you get is an upset stomach. If you don't feel better in a couple of days it's best to see your doctor.

Technically the flu is a respiratory disease. Your stomach can be affected by a virus, which usually last 24 hours. Even worse you could have some bad bacteria like all that e coli we hear about on the news.

Generally viruses go away on their own, bacteria may not and require antibiotics. Hope this helps

Flu is caused by virus. Bacteria causes infections. Parasites are bugs.

Well, the flu is caused by a virus (the influenza virus), which people often call a "bug". Basically, they're all the same thing but the strain of virus that is causing you to be sick will cause different symptoms and will respond to different medications.

They all are pretty much the name for when your stomach gets sick with a bacteria or virus.......
Many viruses and bacteria can upset your stomach and digestive track. Some go away by themselves and others can be serious.
If it last more than 24 hrs you should see a doctor.

I think they're generally the same although some will affect your upper GI tract (vomiting) more and others your lower GI tract (diarrhea) or both. Usually, all you can do is try to get some fluids in, rest and let them run their course.
