then when they come over here they see that life in America is no joke and in many ways can be harder than Mexican life,, so they immediatley think white people are purposley making thier life harder

people in Mexico an El salvador etc, really believe that nothiing can be harder than what they experience becuase they are in those counries branded "third world' but to thier surprise life isn't always what it seems and thier perceptions about life in America are way off and they are ill-equipped to handle it

So they connect this feeling of a more complicated and demading life to some sort of conspiracy gringos secretly have to keep the Latinos down,,,,just go to a La Raza meeting and you will see what I mean

fact is they don't want to admit that the majority of legal Americans work hard for what they get and have to live in a more complicated society than South of the border they want to see the world in black and white,,Us vs Them mentality

Some White people are lazy, just like every other color out there. Let me tell you something, when your family settled here the same problems existed. This great nation we live in is a melting pot, I would 't live any other place, and I've seen other places, my family has been here a long time see we did not cross the border the border crossed us, all my life I have dealt with people, mainly white telling me to be happy with what I have, I have seen white people promoted with less time on the job because they are white. And I have been with same company for 28+ years. Don't write someone off because they happen to be a different color, or their values are different then yours, be happy that they are willing to work the jobs some folks don 't care to, remember that the next time you sleep on clean sheets in a Hotel, eat your next meal, pick up something at the store, the clothes you wear, the people that come here just want a bigger slice of the pie, just like you and me. Yes there should be limits, until they are legal, there should be a national tax for everyone, this way they are paying for there stay here as well as everyone else, they want to be Americans tell them they have one year to do it or leave, try again in three years, insert into everyone a chip so people who are not suppose to be here can be tracked. There is always going to be someone out there willing to do what it takes to work here even if the wages are less, and no benefits. I work in the medical field, there are more dead beats that don't pay for care then Mexicans who do. So lighten up stop being blind to color, move on that's what makes or Nation so great "ALL THE DIFFERENT PEOPLE AROUND US.

Unincomf may not know it, but she just discribed what life in Mexico is like. When you hire someone in Mexico, you pretty much hire them for life or until they quit
If you let them go, they will picket you, and send goons after you to make you do what their law expects you to do. I find it very funny and interesting because that is exactly they way these people that come here think. They believe that if you work for someone, they owe you exactly what she makes mention of. Insurance, education for the kids etc etc. This is the reason we have the problem here. We have illegals coming to the US and want to live here ...the way they lived where they came from. This is what we have to look forward to if we don't change the way things are being done. What is going on is a form of socialism in Mexico. It will become what we live very shortly.

there's a guy in Mexico who's richer than bill Gates. he's the 2d richest guy interior the worldwide. And, i've got examine right here that Mexico's financial equipment is the eleventh or twelfth greatest interior the worldwide and that their center classification is becoming as a results of fact democracy is taking root. What I see interior the mainstream media is unquestionably different from what I see once I examine the themes. it variety of feels very almost like Mexico is basically high-quality yet that there are people who refuse to obey regulation and play via the regulations and for this reason, their friends down there do unlike them. So the disobedient, rebellious kinds get dissatisfied and what do they do? they arrive to the U.S. and pretend all "Latinos" are a similar and all "non-Latinos" do not recognize "Latinos". i'm beginning off to contemplate whether there is any actuality to that in the process any respect. hmm...

THIS SAYS IT ALL

Let's say I break into your house. Let's say that when you discover me in your house, you insist that I leave. But I say, "I've made all the beds and washed the dishes and did the laundry and swept the floors; I've done all the things you don't like to do. I'm hardworking and honest (except for when I broke into your house). According to the protesters, not only must you let me stay, you must add me to your family's insurance plan, educate my kids, and provide other benefits to me and to my family (my husband will do your yard work because he too is hard-working and honest, except for that breaking in part). If you try to call the police or force me out, I will call my friends who will picket your house carrying signs that proclaim my right to be there. It's only fair, after all, because you have a nicer house than I do, and I'm just trying to better myself. I'm hardworking and honest, um, except for well, you know. And what a deal it is for me! I live in your house, contributing only a fraction of the cost of my keep, and there is nothing you can do about it without being accused of selfishness, prejudice and being an anti-housebreaker. Oh yeah, and I want you to learn my language so you can communicate with me. Sound a little bit off the mark??

besides the whole white part I agree and I think unicornfarie1's answer is a very good analogy to what it's really like. However, I can't help but feel that if the U.S. is such a great country that people sneak in to live here, it should be helping these poorer "third world" countries a little more

No... what they know is that the opportunities in USA are far greater than where they are.

Having nice things here are far easier to obtain than most places in this world its just that Americans take it for granted and think they have to work hard for things, even kids here have nice cars everything here is within reach to everyone.

Americans really do not realise how easy they have it here, its all relevant to where you are.

What are you raving about. Nobody comes here expecting life to be easy. I never hear any immigrants saying life here is hard or that they can't adjust.
