I jut got home from work, and it has been a long day. I'm really hungry, but I don't want fast food. I do want something quick and good though, that I can make at home. Any suggestions?

Take the first four things you take out of the frig, add two things from the pantry, and it will at least be filling.

if your looking for something quick and easy to cook but you dont want fast food and you want it to be healthy why not make yourself a fruit salad with strawberruies bannanas peaches whatever kind of fruit you loke. fresh or canned fruit is good but personally ive found fresh fruit has less sugar on the other hand fresh fruit can be exspensive depending on which kind odf fruit you want and which kind is in season. canned fruit is the best choice if your on a budget. but if you dont want fruit there is always a garden fresh salad. and skinless boneless grilled or baked chicken is another gooed choice.just remember to eat in moderate proportions or else if you eat to much you will feel wierd on the othyer hand if you dont eat enough you wont have any engery for lets say excersing. but either way hope thois advice helps.

Since I have no idea what exactly you have at home; here are some options. Check your cupboards and chose one that sounds yummy:
tuna sandwich(eggs, tuna, salad all crushed and mixed w/ mayonasse between two crispy slices of bread), or a strawberry shortcake (chopped strawberries between layers of pound cake with a topping of whipped cream), or some delicious homemade pizzas(pizza sauce w/ mozzarella cheese on either toasted bread or crackers), or a thick soup(all you favorite vegetables plus egg whites w/ some nice herb toppings in fragrant broth), or lasana(ground beef, cheese(3 of your favorite types) layered between layers pasta). Enjoy.

Well what I do when I'm flatout too tired to grocery shop, I get me a nice plate of crackers and sprinkle parm cheese over them, and make some soup--if I'm out of everything. OTherwise, I just have something delivered if I'm starving my butt off. FOr dessert a peice of fruit, look in your cabinets too...sometimes canned stuff gets forgotten about.
Frozen porkchops are really easy and quick to thaw out and eat.
And some frozen beans

Cook some pasta. Drain it and toss it with some melted butter and garlic. Top with parmesan cheese. Add a salad. Relax and enjoy.

Ramen Noodles...crack an egg or two in it. You can eat it in the broth or strain it and put ketchup on it..maybe throw in a slice of cheddar cheese. I am the ultimate bachelor cook.
