i know it was displayed as a concept vehicle at the 2001 detroit motorshow. but when is it going to be made. I asked in a vw showroom last year and the guy said 2006.

The Microbus design concept displayed at the Detroit Motor Show will not be produced. There will be a new "Eurovan," but it won't be the fabulous design piece that was shown at Detroit. VW will probably also introduce a hi-top version of the Golf/Rabbit as produced in Europe, similar to the Mazda3/Mazda5 combination.

well, i just went on the volkswagen.co.uk site, and did a search for microbus, it doesnt say when its going to be completed, but it went into production in 2003, so i guess its one step closer to being completed....
