Negative the window motor is more then likely frozen. Pop the panel off the door and tap the motor it will probably work again. Ford is good for motors freezing.

It could also be that the window itself is binding, thereby stifling the motor. The stall torque ratings of those little motors are probably not powerful enough to handle binding at all. Jabbing the door panel may correct it until it is rolled down again and slips out of position to bind. You can take the door panel off yourself and look to see if you can figure out what's loose or binding, but you will need either screwdrivers or nutdrivers to remove the screws or bolts. If you unscrew everything you then have to pop the door panel off and upward after assuring the door latch grip and switch body are disconnected from the panel as well as the arm rest. Sometimes the screws are hidden up under the parts in a recessed area so look all around well and assure you have them all out. It is usually necessary to pull the lower end of the panel out from the bottom first as it is clipped into the holes in the metal inner door panel itself. The plastic door panel mounting clips often break and need to be replaced with new ones though if the vehicle is old and has been through many-a-seasonal weather cycle to make those little clips crack and split. That's normal as most plastics tend to lose their resilient lubricity over the years and sort of "dry-rot". It's still cheaper to do yourself rather than pay a mechanic over $65 dollars an hour or more for labor alone and he will probably break the clips too, for another $8 to $12 dollars to buy new clips. Try it or draft a guy-friend into trying it for you and save yourself that expensive labor cost.

not a car mechanic here but i'd start by testing the switch, then the fuse and then the motor. replace whatever need fixing and boobs your aunty job done.

to test the switch just swop a known good switch to the door with the poroblem and try the switch if it works buy a new switch, if not then it could be the fuse again locata a known good fuse and replace the dead one, now try the switch, it works great job done. if not then it has to be the motor (or failing all that a dodgy connection somewhere in the circuit). so try getting a circuit tester and diagnose the fault. eithe rway it will only be a half a days work at most if you know what you are doing i'd estimate.
and as others have said if you can do the work yourself it will save you a fortune on garage (mechanics) fees.

good luck.

one fuse works all of them so its not a fuse,,its probably the motor gone bad on it,or the regulator assembly its self sticking on it,there's only one fuse that works all of this,,you may also have a bad switch,id check this before i done anything else, with it,,a lot of times the switch on the drivers side goes out, that's the most used one on it,,i hope this help,s,good luck with it,,happy new years also.

I would think if it were a fuse, all the windows would not work. It is most like the regulator/motor.

Check window switch's or window motor in door

Could be a bad contact in your switch.Unplug it and check to see if voltage is present. It could be a loose ground wire on the window motor.A fuse problem is unlikely.

Sounds like you have a problem with the motor for that window, or a switch problem.

more than likely that is the window that is used the most and the motor for it has gone out. this is covered by your warranty as long as you still have it.
