Sit down with him, hold his hand or sit close to him. Tell him how you feel about him and then tell him how his actions affect you. Say things like "I feel like ______ when you" "Or I get angry when you____" instead of making him feel like your coming at him. Also you can say "what can I do to make things different?" Good luck. There is no changing him. You can not change another person. The best thing you can do is loose him and move on. If you do not think that you are strong enough to do that, then you need to sit down and write out a list of the issues. Just the issues no emotions and then sit down and in a calm a rational tone tell him what has been bothering you and be willing to listen to him. You also need to give him a chance to tell you what his issues with you are. In the end I am sure that you will come to a mature decision.

Assuming you guys have a good friendship alongside your relationship, just sit him down and talk to him. Or if not, have talk with him on the phone. If you really want your relationship with him to work, then you need to be comfortable communicating with him! And if he's the time to get all pissy and not take you seriously, then maybe he's not right for you?

In my experience, guys don't think well under pressure, and he probably won't have much to offer when put on the spot. I recommend making an outline of what problems you're taking issue with, before you talk to him. Make an "appointment" with him, so he knows it's important. Go over what's bugging you, and tell him to take a day or two to consider whether the problems are fixable or if it's time to move on. Then, DO NOT contact him; if he cares enough, he'll come to you.

First, do you think he will actually change? Have you said this before and never followed through with your plan to leave him? If so, he won't believe you and keep acting the same way. Instead of telling him what he has to do to change, tell him what you want out of a relationship without nagging. Give him lots of space and see if he improves. If not, say you are not satisfied and need to move on. Make it more about your needs, not his mistakes.

Just plain and simple tell him how you feel. If he gets all pissy tell him you two need a break from each other, that usually makes him listen better. Depends on what your complaint is too, if it is silly, then you need to work out a mutual agreement. If is like him cheating, stealing, etc... then he needs help and you don't need that in your life.

Why do you want to be with someone who gives you crap and would get pissy when you told him? Break up with him

Very calmly and very firmly set him straight.Above all avoid making it a screaming match as that never works. But you also must be prepared for him to dump you over your actions. It's important that you remember that you are working with a double edged sword in these cases and you might get cut yourself. But the other options (putting up with his crap and being miserable) justifies what has to be done. After all you are a human being yourself and you deserve to be treated with respect as well. Good luck and I hope everything works out OK.

face it...he's gonna be pissy. that's the way guys get when they have to face the truth. Just sit him down and calmly explain to him what's he's doing. if he can't change it then you're probably better off w/out him

Well, rephrase that.....

"you know, we've had a lot of fun, but I feel like I'm growing out of you or something. Like I'm going forward and you have a hand around my ankle. I'd like to back up and regroup, seriously"

then you could always do the old, "it isn't you it's me", or "I love you, I'm just not sure if I'm IN love with you" (my personal favorite).

Good luck and Happy New Year!

If he starts just walk away. And keep on walking because there are a lot more guys out there that wont treat you like ****. It might be hard in the beginning but it will get better and you will find someone worth your time.
