Mix about 1/4 cup of cornmeal in about 1/2 cup of cold water. Stir it in and see if you like the thickness. You can always add more of the same if that's not enough.
Masa (for making tortillas) is better if you have it. It's finer than cornmeal and is more subtle.

Well several things, you can cook it longer there by reducing the liquid by evaporation, it will also intensify the taste. Or you can use some cornstarch like a Tablespoon or two mixed with 1/4 c. of water then added to the chili, You could also at mashed potato flakes. Or you could add a couple of Tablespoons of flour to about 1/2 of water.. mix well then add to boiling liquid stirring constantly. It will thicken as it boils.

A small amount of Corn Starch mixed well in cold water first will thicken your liquid. Use small amounts ie. 1/2 tsp. Corn Starch added to about 1/2 cup cold water & stirr well until disolved. After adding and to your chili & stirring, see if more is needed.

Corn starch. If you do not have corn starch melt butter and slowly add flour. Either way put the corn starch or flour mix in a bowl and slowly add the liquid from the chili when its all mixed together then add it to the chili. You might get lumps if you add it straight to the chili.

Get some corn chips crush them up, add to chili, I know it sounds weird but this really works! The chips will dissolve and the combination of corn & lime act as a thickener. Or, mix equal parts flour and fat (oil or whatever) and after its all mixed add to hot chili while mixing slowly.

I know it's too late to do now, but if you start off by smashing half a can of your beans, that will help a lot with thickening it from the start, then you can add water to thin it out if needed. But if you do find it to be too watery, just keep it boiling and it will thicken a little.

Toss in a handful of instant oats and stir them in. They won't change the flavor of your chili. A handful will equal about half a cupful - if that's not enough, toss in another couple tablespoons-full. Let the chili simmer a couple minutes longer, and it's ready to serve.

Peel a potato then grate it up really fine and add to chili. The starch will thicken it while the potato dissolves and you also get the vitamins and minerals from it left behind

A secret recipe additive Mashed potatoe flakes: really I swear we use when were cooking rice and beans I always forget and put to much water so we throw in some mashed potatoe flakes and let it cook for a bit and voila it perfect and no you don't taste the potatoes. As for amount just sprinke about 1/4 cup.

Add corn meal or corn starch to thicken it. Also, if you simmer the chili over low heat, some of the liquid should evaporate.
