OK
Our neighbors dog got in our fence. Our dog had not been spayed yet. I never said I wouldn't go to a vet I just asked for signs i could lokk for before i take her. We take good care of her and she is very loved. If she is pregnant then she will receive the best care that can be offered to her. I appreciate all the help that anyone can offer, but without the judgement and lectures.

is she spayed? did she go into heat? was she bred? if the answer is yes to these then probably. now for the usual answers. if you don't know about dog breeding your dog should have been spayed before you ever could ask this question. and if you don't want to go to the vet, then you should not own a dog let alone let them bring more dogs into this world to be neglected.

It really depends if it is her first litter or not. I am a long time breeder and find that it is more difficult to tell on first timers. They pretty much go through the ame signs as we humans. They may throw up a little....start urinating more often..More sleepy lazy.....then the teets and belly will start to swell later in to the pregnancy. Vets. can do a preg. test at about 48 days.
62 days total gestation......

You should see a change in her body. Not only will she gain weight but her teets will start to grow also. As time goes by you will definitly know by feeling of her tummy and feeling the babies moving.

Observe her actions!
If u have a stethoscope u can put it on her stomach and see if u hear more than one hearts beating.
My mother did it to my dog!

Good Luck!

i would know if my dog is pregnant if shes too choosy on the foods, she fights with my other girl dog (when they used not to it), she sleeps most of the time and her breasts are getting bigger.

and as usual her tummy is larger. hehe
