I heard this the other day. So now besides checking for all the other 'stuff' they are putting in meat, milk, fruits, & vegs, I now have to see if my eggs, milk, & meat are from cloned animals!
OK - are they going to mark these as 'natural'? And how do they get away with that? What about 'organtic'?
Shopping used to be easy..now it is like taking college chemistry all over again!

Kind of scary - what if there is a slight variation in the DNA - what are we eating then? What if the original cow has mad cow disease and we eat it - will they be able to trace it back? And how do we know when we are eating cloned food or not? Makes me want to put in a large garden, learn to can, and raise a few chickens and maybe a sheep or pig (that's all I have room for).

WHAT CAN WE DO ABOUT IT WE AS CONSUMERS NEED TO BECOME MORE INVOLVED WITH WHAT WE SPEND OUR HARD EARNED DOLLARS ON. WHILE THEY'RE BOMBARDING THE NEWS WITH THE WAR AND THINGS LIKE WHO'S KILLING TREE'S OR WHO'S SCREWING TO PRESIDENT. WE NEED TO HAVE MORE NEWS COVERAGE ON THINGS LIKE HEALTH ISSUES FDA DECISIONS DAY CARES FOR OUR BABIES NURSING HOMES AND SCHOOLS WHICH ARE IN THE WORST SHAPE EVER. SPORTS GET MORE COVERAGE THAN SOMETHING CONCERNING OUR CHILDREN AND OUR HEALTH.
