Yes. But did Hussein ask God to forgive him? I'm thinking not. For one thing, he was clutching a koran all the way to the gallows. That tells me if he had any faith it was probably in the wrong god. The God of the Bible would forgive someone like Him. In fact He did it for the theif when He was dying on the cross, and also for those that were crucifying Him.

Yes I do believe in a God that can forgive him, and anyone that will come to him by Jesus Christ, and ask for forgiveness. But Saddam didn't come to God by Jesus. He had a quran in his hand and said something aboue muhammad being the true prophet of God. He is with his god now, Satan.

The Blood Of Jesus Christ can wash away the sins of any man .I do not believe that Sodminsane asked for forgiveness because he carried the koran to his death and therefor showed those who are saved that he put his trust in the wrong god

Well my personal belief is that if he repented truly in his heart before his execution, and excepted the Lord into his heart, then yes God promises to forgive. His accountability is now between himself and God. I dont believe that this was true in his case, but if you are asking about forgivness on his behalf, it would depend on if he repented.

Of course. Remember that Saddam set himself up with a self-imposed hell that most likely will last a long time before his last farthing is paid in full. It could take a billion human years for him to pay his debt to divine Love, but after that time he will be a changed man and will know what sin is and how to avoid it.
