there is this guy sam his friends tell me that he likes me but, I don't know if they are playing a trick on me or not. He does act a little shy around me all the signs are sorta there but Im not sure if he likes me.For instance he took my picture with his phone and ruffled my hair for some reason but, how would I ask Sam without getting my feelings hurt?

ok now I tried to get his phone number from his friend and his friend's mom picked up and when I asked her she said they feel too much of something or other to give out their phone numbers.

OBVIOUSLY he "likes" you however that doesn't mean he wants a realtionship with you or likes you for anyother reason than a friend. If you want to know if he is interested in you as a relationship you will have to ask HIM and quit relying on everyone else to gather information and carry "messages" back and forth. If you can't speak for yourself then you are NOT mature enough for any kind of relationship except friendship.

Dont ask or try to find out. If he flirts, flirt back and let thing just happen naturally. Don't think too much into this "if he likes me or not". Enjoy what's going on around you and take it a day at a time.

Sounds to me like he likes you.
Don't ASK him, but encourage him to tell you. I assume you think he is cute or you like him. Go out of your way to talk to him and be friendly. If nothing happens, do it again. He will get over his shyness. He is afraid of you, so you need to let him know there is nothing to fear. By being afraid of you, I mean he is afraid you will make him look stupid.

. Life is short so go for it.you ask them if they like you and if the answer is positive if you like them you tell them so .It's better to ask up front instead of wasting your time on a nonstarter .If they say no you smile sweetly and move on till you find someone that you can hook up with .Good luck
