I'm a girl, am I'd like to know what consitutes as flirting. For guys, and girls. I am always hanging around with my friends, (guys), and people say, "oooohhhhh lolz ur flirting omglolz!!!111"

Also, how can I tell if he's flirting with me? Like, (this is weird,) he put his hand on top of mine when we were using Flight Simulator.. I let it stay and so did he. Is that flirting? What about splashing water on eachother in science? How about telling me he likes my hair? WTF?!

If something is playful and a romantic gesture, it's flirting. Others might guess you are flirting but they might guess it's a romantic gesture when it's not.
Splashing each other with water sounds playful so it seems if he was doing it with ardent emotional attachment, he was flirting, and otherwise he was having a good time.

It is kind of different for everyone what they persieve as flirting. Some people are pathological flirts and just tend to flirt without thinking about it. Some people are just set on being a match maker and interperet everything as flirting, just incase you two ever get together, they can take partial credit. (yes there are people like that) There is no real clear cut line though.

i know this doesnt help much but that happens to me a lot to i mean i hang out with guys a lot and people tell me that i'm flirting when i'm not even doing anything
