No. The Da Vinci code is an interesting fiction based on a myth that was fostered by the French royal family in the middle ages. The myth said that Jesus had children with Mary Magdalene and that Mary traveled to Gaul (France) to raise them. The French royals spread this story implying that they were Jesus' ancestors in order to gain legitimacy in a strongly Catholic country.

The Da Vinci code was nothing more than a well written work of fiction. Highly entertaining but fiction nonetheless. Jesus did not deal with homosexuals, as it is an abomination. And transvestites would have been against God as well, since a woman is not to portray herself as a man not is a man to portray himself as a woman

No, the Da Vincci Code is a work of fiction. This question is an example of why Christians have been in an uproar about the book. Too many people are taking it as truth. It was meant to be a novel.

No! Don't believe anything of what that movie is saying. It's all blasphemy. Read your bible instead and find out the truth.

BTW, Da Vinci wasn't even Christian.

Man, I tried watching the DaVinci Code and couldn't get past the first 1/2 hour. At least if they were going to lie they would be creative.
