Did he break up with you? If so, I'd say he got what he wanted and decided to move on. Did you give it away to him to try to keep him and make the relationship work?
Regardless, you can be friends but only if BOTH of you expect only friendship. If either of you is holding on to hope that you'll get back together and the other is thinking no way, then no, you should not be friends.

Yes you can be friend with an ex sometimes and sometime not but it s all what u and this ex have been thru too. In wordds really if you break up and there was drama and fighting that a reason not to go there really but if it was a mutal break up and all yes you can and sometime even call eaahc other for some advice too.

The question you have to ask yourself is COULD you be friends with your ex-boyfriend.
Will you/he be able to handle it if one of you gets into another relationship?
Will you/he be able to really be JUST friends?
You can try it out- but it is going to be very hard.

There is nothing wrong with being friends with your X. Everyone thinks you're supposed to hate them and spurn them with your foot but you don't. You are permitted to be friends with them there's no law against it.
