If one of your rugs is infected with the athlete's foot fungus,what can be done to eliminate it?

There are plenty of remedies for curing athlete's foot, but how does one get rid of the athlete's foot fungus on a rug?

It would be a shame to have to get rid of a rug, but the fungus spreads easily, so it must be eliminated...

Does anyone have any suggestions for eliminating the athlete's foot fungus from the rug?

wash your bathroom rugs weekly in hot water with a tad of bleach!

also use Tinactin(SP?) spray it is great!
