Maybe, but then his puppies wouldnt probably be registered either. And people usally look for puppies with good pedigrees because they want to make sure they know that the pupp is coming from a good family etc. Well I wouldnt try the stud service with your unregistered dog. Because bussiness may not be as well as expected. You'd even be lucky if he bred with another dog. Well anyways, good luck with your pets!

Any intact male dog can serve as a "stud," the question is whether anyone will use him as he is unregistered and all pups will be unregisterable.

???what is a 'ch' gator pitbull? does he have some kind of performance title like for pulling or something? that might make a difference...

I think you should seriously reconsider breeding your dogs. The shelters are so full of dogs just waiting to be euthanized, especially Pit Bulls. The Pits don't stand a fair chance at getting quality homes despite their wonderful temperament and personality. If you truely love the breed, you won't add to the overpopulation.
If you still insist on breeding your dogs, at least radiograph their hips to rule out hip dysplasia and make sure they have a clean bill of health so you don't pass any breed related health problem on to the puppies.

He could be used for stud but none of his offspring can be rigistered. Unless both parents are registered the pups can not be.

He can, but the puppies cannot be registered. I would not recommend it though, as the puppies may not go to homes that you would want them to go to (like to be trained to fight). Any unaltered male can be used for a stud, even though it may not be a good idea.

You can use him as a stud as long as the other party (female)understands the puppies can't be registered.

i'm sure he can, but the types of owners of the bitches that pay for his stud won't be top quality breeders. and you could be contributing to bigger problems. i'd say have this guy neutered and enjoy him as a pet and for his beauty.
