Well you've already asked and answer your question and the biggest problem you have right now is fighting and that's not healthy for any relationship so i would say that y'all need to take a break from each other to realize that your really loving each other for the right reason. Just because you feel like your only going to get back together that doesn't mean anything you both need time to think about the fighting that y'all do and it's not worth it because someone could really get hurt so if you can't talk it out you may need a break from each other because real love isn't supposed to hurt like that. Good Luck!

If there is love between dyou two maybe now you are not ready for the relationship.... these fights can be terribly damaging to the essence of the relationship, and you don't wan't that.
So maybe it would be good to take some time appart and give each other time to grow up, instead of consumating and burning everything with the fights till there is nothing left you love.
What you can also do i try counselling.... it's not only for married people.
I wish you the best of luck, patience with each other and harmony.
ps: i want to add for chantal, it's not true that other there is someone perfect for us, where everything will be perfect and right, i do believe people are meant for each other but still relationship require work, giving, communication and much more

If ya are having terrible fights watch out, marriage is not the answer. Those fights are only going to get worst. I know I sound like your mom or something but this is not a good sign. If you know what I know you should make a decision to break up with this guy for good. I smell trouble and it stinks. Next thing ya know they'll be kids and the drama will begin. Love isn't enough to build a relationship on. I think you're confusing lust with love. Reevaluate your relationship.

I am concerned that you may have grown to comfortable with each other or the worst his, grown apart. Love just doesn't keep a relationship going forever. There has to be a real friendship between the two of you. Also there are many kinds of love in a relationship. Maybe you need a break from each other just to see how much you miss each other. The age I am not so worried about unless you are under 18yr. We as people grow in many different ways. Have you asked your partner how he feels about the both of your relationship? I wish you much luck. Also if you are having any doubt don't marry.

If you two both know this for a fact and you both know that you will be together for sure no matter what and you can work out whatever comes your way no matter what--then--why break-up? Weather it all together and stay together. Make it work. When two people get married--it's for better or worse--they don't just break-up because they they get into a fight and then get back together because it's the thing to do--it's two hearts beating as one.

Conflicts happen in relationship. What is critical is the ability to resolve them to a mutually satisfactory outcome. How are you sure you are going to get married but can't stay together right now? Sounds like you need to work things out and develop better relationship coping skills before making a committment to marriage. Try having fun dating.

What type of fights? Abusive fights were someone is being physically, sexually or verabally abused. I would say this is not love, but addiction. I would suggest doing some reading on love vs addictive love. Also, talk to a counselor to get some mutual feedback on the relationship.

How the heck do u KNOW ur gonna marry him... He could die tomorrow.. u never KNOW whatz gonna happen... and if u keep getting into fights but u really really want to be together try some kind of counceling. But i think u guys need some time appart... And don't convince yourself that you are going to marry him because like i said... u NEVER "know" whatz gonna happen.

Wait a minute, you are thinking of breaking up with a guy you love to death because you're fighting? If they're abusive fights, by all means break up. But if you're just arguing, who doesn't? It's never going to be all roses and sunshine all the time.
